I'm wearing yellow this World Mental Health Day and raising vital funds for YoungMinds

This Hello Yellow I will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.

Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this.

By wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day (10 October), and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.

💛 Hello Yellow Day – 10th October 💛

Sunday 28th Sep

On Friday 10th October, our school will be joining thousands of others across the country to take part in Hello Yellow Day, supporting Young Minds and raising awareness of children’s mental health.

We’re inviting everyone to come to school wearing something yellow – whether it’s a bright t-shirt, a scarf, or even a pair of funky socks – to help spread positivity and show that no one has to face their feelings alone.

Throughout the day, classes will be taking part in activities that celebrate kindness, wellbeing, and the importance of looking after our mental health. Together, we’ll be shining a light on how small acts of care and support can make a big difference.

We can’t wait to see the school glowing in yellow and joining together for such an important cause! 💛
