Hello Yellow
YoungMinds annual campaign to raise awareness of and much needed funds for young people’s mental health
About Hello Yellow
Hello Yellow is an annual campaign run by YoungMinds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.
Since launching in 2016, Hello Yellow has grown into a nationwide movement. Every World Mental Health Day (10 October), thousands of schools, workplaces and communities across the UK wear yellow, fundraise, and come together to show young people they’re not alone with how they’re feeling.
YoungMinds works to make sure young people get the support they need by providing tools and resources to help them look after their mental health, empowering adults to be there for the young people in their lives, and creating opportunities for young people to speak out and drive change.
By taking part in Hello Yellow, you’re helping to make that work possible – raising vital funds, increasing awareness, and showing young people across the country that they’re not alone.
Join us this World Mental Health Day – whether it’s a yellow jumper, socks, or a full banana costume, wear yellow your way and raise what you can.
So far, fundraisers have helped raise an incredible £3,285,692!
These funds could:
Help train 43,809 young activists
Fund 219,046 calls to our Parents Helpline
Reach 131,428,680 people online
