This year Beechwood Park children will again be wearing yellow 12.10.26
This Hello Yellow we will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.
Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this.
By wearing yellow on 12th October for World Mental Health Day, and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.
Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

Lovely to see so much yellow in class!
Tuesday 13th Oct
What a fantastic sight our classroome were yesterday! So many children made a real effort to wear yellow for World Mental Health Day, and it was lovely to see such enthusiasm and support for an important cause.
The bright colours certainly brought lots of smiles, but more importantly, they reminded us of the importance of looking after our mental health and caring for one another. Throughout the day, we shared ideas about being kind, talking about our feelings, and supporting friends when they may need a helping hand.
A huge thank you to all the children and parents who got involved. It's always special to see our class come together in this way, and the sea of yellow helped make today feel positive, cheerful and full of kindness. We are very proud of everyone for showing that even small actions can help make a big difference. 💛 PS we smashed our fundraising goal!
