We are turning Littleover Community School Yellow this World Mental Health Day and raising vital funds for YoungMinds
This Hello Yellow , Littleover Community School will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.
There will be a non Uniform Day for Years 7-9 on Wednesday 7th October, Years 10-11 on Thursday 8th October and for 6th form and Staff on Friday 9th October to raise awareness of mental health and vital funds for Young Minds
Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this.
By wearing yellow for World Mental Health Day, and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.
Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

Thank you for all the great work you do. It is reassuring that my daughter has somewhere to go and staff to talk to if she feels anxious.
