I'm wearing yellow this World Mental Health Day and raising vital funds for YoungMinds
This Hello Yellow I will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.
Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this.
By wearing yellow on 9th October for World Mental Health Day, and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.
Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

💛 Hello Yellow at Treviglas Academy – Spreading Kindness, One Word at a Time
Friday 9th OctToday, Treviglas Academy is turning yellow to celebrate Hello Yellow, a special day dedicated to raising awareness of mental health and reminding everyone that no one should ever feel alone.
Our school community is coming together to spread a little sunshine, share kindness and show one another that we care. 💛
As part of our celebrations, everyone is wearing a Hello Yellow sticker featuring kind words to show their support for one another. These small but meaningful messages are a reminder that a few kind words can make a real difference to someone's day. Whether it's offering encouragement, showing appreciation or simply reminding someone that they matter, kindness can help create a more supportive and caring school community.
We're also holding a bake sale to bring everyone together and support our school fundraising efforts. It's a lovely opportunity to enjoy some delicious treats while contributing to a worthwhile cause. Every cake, every donation and every act of support helps us work towards our fundraising goals.
At Treviglas Academy, we know that looking after our mental health is important, and that creating an environment where people feel safe, valued and supported starts with all of us. Hello Yellow gives us the opportunity to celebrate the power of kindness, encourage conversations about mental health and remind each other that it's always okay to ask for help.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported today's event, baked or bought treats, worn their yellow stickers and taken the time to share a kind word. Your support helps make our school community a brighter, more positive place.
Together, we're spreading kindness, raising awareness and showing that every little act of support matters.
