I'm wearing yellow this World Mental Health Day and raising vital funds for YoungMinds

This Hello Yellow I will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health.

Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this.

By wearing yellow on 9th October for World Mental Health Day, and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better.

Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

St.Margarets Vision

Friday 4th Sep
Here at St.Margarets Academy in Torquay we are always striving to create awareness for young people and their mental health. To know that children have someone to talk to, someone to listen to them and support them is so important. Having a special day to create that awareness amongst the wider school community is vital, so that parents and carers know we are here for their children and can access relevant support and resources. Young Minds has helped children and families we support as well as guide us as professionals.
