💛 Hello Yellow at The Rise School! 💛
This World Mental Health Day, I’m wearing yellow to raise vital funds for YoungMinds and to show our young people that they are never alone with their mental health.
On 9th October, The Rise School will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country taking part in Hello Yellow.
Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many young people aren’t getting the support they need, when they need it. Some may not know where to turn, who to talk to, or whether anyone else understands how they feel.
As a school community, we have an important role to play. 💛
By wearing yellow, starting conversations and donating what we can, we can help raise awareness, reduce stigma and remind every young person that their mental health matters, they are not alone, and things can get better.
