We're wearing one item of yellow this World Mental Health Day and raising vital funds for YoungMinds
Parents: Please encourage your young person to swap one item of uniform for something YELLOW on 10th October (the remainder of their uniform should be worn) and donate, if you can.
Students: let's make this the biggest support of this drive yet! YELLOW socks, YELLOW tie and YELLOW blazer!? What have you got to show your support?
This Hello Yellow at WCGS, we will join thousands of individuals, schools and communities across the country to raise money and show young people that they're not alone with their mental health. Right now, more than 1 in 4 young people have a probable mental health condition. Many aren't getting the help they need, when they need it. Some don’t even know where to turn, who to talk to, or if anyone else feels the same. But we can change this. By wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day (10 October), and donating what you can, you can show young people that they are not alone and that things can get better. Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.
